Fettuccine di Manzo Fritte

(Sliced Fried Beef)

2 lbs. roast beef - sliced 1/4" thick

Pound to 1/8" thickness. Flavor with mixture of garlic, olive oil, salt, pepper, basil, thyme, and whatever you like. In a heavy pan, put 1/8" olive oil, heat to frying temperature. Add beef slices, cook until brown, 1 to 2 min. Do not overcook. Turn and brown other side. Remove to platter and serve. Pour pan drippings over meat.
