1-2 lbs. fresh cod flour
1 large can crushed tomatoes olive oil
2 large garlic cloves, mashed basil
whole red onion, sliced

salt

a little sugar

pepper

Make a tomato sauce with the garlic, onion, crushed tomatoes, basil, salt, pepper and sugar. Simmer for 20 minutes or so. Wash and cut the cod into small pieces. Coat each piece with flour and brown in hot oil. Add to sauce and simmer for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
